DESCRIPTION:The Tree of Dreams® is an annual campaign to raise awarenes
 s of suicide prevention on the Central Coast. Every year in 
 the lead up to World Suicide Prevention Day on 10thSeptember
 \, we adorn the tree with hundreds of messages of HOPE – S
 TRENGTH – REMEMBRANCE – SUPPORT collected from people ac
 ross the Central Coast. This year\, alongside the Tree of Dr
 eams\, there will be a community event held at the Wyong Mil
 k Factory grassed area adjacent to the Wyong River. On Sunda
 y\, September 8\, as the sun sets\, attendees will be invite
 d to release a lantern on the river in reflection – a mome
 nt to honour and respect those they have lost\, their life l
 ived\, their love and the gifts they gave. It is also an opp
 ortunity to show those touched by suicide that they’re not
  alone\, to foster hope and build connectedness\, to raise a
 wareness for suicide prevention. Lanterns provided free of c
 harge at the event. Everyone is welcome.
